We are so excited for the release of one of Barb’s favorite books as a teacher onto the big screen, that we are dedicating our regular Thursday night Pinfest Mealplanning Twitter Party to The Lorax this week!
We have already started adding all the fun The Lorax pins we can find to our Seussville Pinterest Board. We can’t wait to get together with you and add more!
Last Friday night, Barb attended The Lorax Bliss Party in Nashville, TN with The Lorax himself.
We gathered lots of fun photo’s to help inspire you to throw your very own The Lorax party which we will be sharing in a post, How The Throw a The Lorax Party, soon. We have even put together a recipe for our very own Lorax Dinner Makeover.
Did you make something The Lorax themed? Or know of someone elses The Lorax post we should see? Please leave us the link in The Lorax themed linky below:
This was my first attempt at making homemade fish sticks. By flaking cooked white fish and combining it with seasoning, I topped it off with a Corn Flakes coating and the result was delicious- the kids and I couldn’t stop eating them. They taste like a healthier, modern version of a retro diner food, which is why I included them in my “Peggy Sue’s Diner Weekly Meal Plan“.

I have an aunt named Peggy Sue. Really.
One time she made enchiladas for me and it was- ideally- the most American 1960′s way to make enchiladas I could imagine. She actually mixes together red and green enchilada sauce- they were unique and delicious. I used her simple enchiladas recipe, titled “Peggy Sue Enchiladas” in this week’s meal plan.
Both Peggy Sue and her enchiladas inspired me to create a new Pinterest board just for them. I love Pinterest and we love you Peggy Sue!
