Ziti Pomodoro Recipe



  1. ziti pasta- 1 lb
  2. ground beef- 1 lb
  3. olive oil- 3 tablespoons
  4. grape tomatoes- 2 pints
  5. fresh basil
  6. shredded parmesan cheese


  1. Boil pasta in salted water until tender; drain
  2. Brown beef with a few tablespoons olive oil and season with a pinch of salt
  3. Add tomatoes to beef and saute until tomatoes begin to burst
  4. Add chopped basil and give it a few more turns
  5. Toss with parmesan cheese reserving some for garnish
