Pineapple Brown Sugar Ham

Pineapple Brown Sugar Baked Ham

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 1 hour

Total Time: 1 hour, 20 minutes

Pineapple Brown Sugar Ham is the perfect entree recipe for Easter brunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • spiral-cut ham
  • sliced pineapple in juice- 1 can
  • brown sugar- 2 cups

Instructions

  1. preheat oven to 325 degrees F
  2. mix together juice from pineapple and brown sugar to form a paste; add more brown sugar if too runny
  3. place ham cut-side down on heavy-duty aluminum foil
  4. secure pineapples to the outside of ham with toothpicks
  5. brush brown sugar paste over the ham and pineapples; using all of the paste
  6. cover and wrap the ham with foil, or use oven roasting bag
  7. bake 10 minutes per pound of ham or until meat thermometer reads 140 degrees F
  8. remove from oven and let sit for at least 10 minutes before slicing
  9. remove toothpicks before slicing

Peep! Skip The Frosting Cupcakes

Peep! Skip The Frosting Cupcakes.

Set your timer three minutes before baking is complete and place one Peep on each cupcake, then bake until melted- approximately three minutes.

This Easter, save time baking cupcakes by skipping the frosting and using Peeps to melt on your cupcakes.

place Peeps on top of cupcakes about three minutes before baking is complete

 

 

I used a basic white cake mix and added food coloring:

separate white cake mix into four separate bowls

 

add a few drops of food coloring; I like Duff's Neon Food Coloring

set timer for three minutes prior to baking being complete

bake until melted, approximately three more minutes

Ingredients

  • 5-6 large carrots, sliced into 1/2 inch slices
  • 4 cups seasoned breadcrumbs
  • onion- 1, minced
  • shredded cheddar cheese- 2 cups
  • milk- 2 cups
  • butter or margarine- 4 tbspns

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Melt butter or margarine in casserole baking dish.
  3. Place carrots, breadcrumbs and onion in alternate layers on top.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Cover with cheese.
  6. Pour milk over the top.
  7. Bake until bubbly and brown, and carrots are tender approximately 1 hour.
