The Tuna Sandwich- Reinvented
Give you tuna sandwich new life with this fun and healthy recipe.
Toni’s Mediterranean Tuna Panini
- Tuna- 10-12 oz., drained
- Kalamata pitted olives- 1 cup, sliced
- peperoncini peppers, 1 cup, sliced
- cumin- 1 tablespoon
- lemon pepper- 1 tablespoon
- olive oil- 1/2 cup
- feta cheese crumbles- 4 oz.
- Mix together tuna, olives, peppers, cumin, lemon pepper and olive oil
- Spray olive oil on one side of each slice of bread
- Grill sandwich with bread- oiled side down- topped with tuna mixture and a small handful of cheese
- Top with other slice of bread- oiled side up
- Grill until brown on both sides
